Privacy Policy

Our approach

Nafsi is privacy-first. We keep your settings, locked-app selections, deeds and progress on your device wherever possible. We do not sell your data, and Nafsi contains no advertising.

App locking data

App locking uses Apple’s Screen Time and Family Controls frameworks. Your app selections are handled by iOS through opaque tokens: Nafsi cannot read which specific apps you chose, cannot see their content, and this information never leaves your device.

Microphone and speech

If you choose a deed verified by voice, Nafsi requests microphone and speech recognition access. Audio is processed to confirm the recitation was completed and is not stored by us or used for profiling. Depending on your device and language, speech recognition may be handled on-device by iOS or by Apple’s speech service under Apple’s own privacy terms.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, we use them only to send reminders, deed prompts and lock or unlock updates. You can disable them at any time in iOS Settings.

Subscriptions

Purchases and the free trial are processed by Apple. We never receive your payment card details. We may receive anonymised subscription status so the app knows whether Premium features are active.

Diagnostics

We may use limited, aggregated crash and performance diagnostics to fix bugs. These do not identify you personally and are never used for advertising.

Children

Nafsi is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will remove it.

Your rights

• Delete your local data by deleting the app from your device.
• Revoke microphone, notification or Screen Time permissions at any time.
• Request information about any data associated with you by emailing us.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above. Continued use of Nafsi means you accept the updated policy.
